    On April 22, 2019, the Ministry of Planning announced that it is seeking to set up a specialized council for the development of the private sector during the coming period, indicating that it will include representatives from the public and private sectors. The council will undertake the strategic studies to provide the necessary support and development to lead the private sector for economic development. The public sector, which will be responsible for the formulation of economic and development policies and follow-up implementation.
