The Diwaniya Governorate Council voted on Tuesday on the 2019 project plan for more than 170 billion dinars, indicating that it would refer it to the Ministry of Planning for approval.
Council member Zeinab Al-Abedi said that "the Council ended today the final reading of the 2019 project plan and approved by 70% for ongoing projects and 30% for new projects."
She added that "the total project plan worth about 170 billion dinars and distributed according to the density of population and the proportions assigned to sectors by the Ministry of Planning to avoid rejection," noting that "will be forwarded to the Ministry for approval."
"As far as possible, the council tried to comply with all the conditions of the Ministry of Planning to prevent its rejection and return and waste time," she said
