She said that she returned a number of questions to Abed Mahdi and Shamri during hosting.
A member of the committee Ali al-Ghanami said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "Abdul-Mahdi has not yet sent the results of the investigation on the case of the peasant to the House of Representatives or the Committee on Security and Defense parliamentary," pointing out that "the Security Committee does not have any information on the results of the investigation with the peasant" .
He added that "the committee will hold a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the acquittal of farmers from the charges against him by Abdul Mahdi and assigning him another position," noting that "the Security Committee returned a set of questions and will host Abdul Mahdi and al-Shamri to know the facts."
Al-Ganami said that "the questions included the investigative committee's knowledge of the problem to investigate the peasantry, and whether there were military judges who participated in it and what tools they resorted to in the investigation as well as who is al-Faisal in the results of the investigation. Explaining that "the decision of Al-Shammari by assigning other tasks is not a punishment for the peasant."
Abdul Mahdi said during a televised interview on Monday evening that the farmer's involvement was not proven in the case of phonograms showing his involvement with a CIA agent. He confirmed that the farmer had been transferred by Defense Minister Najah al-Shammari to another undisclosed location.
The parliamentary and political circles have expressed since the formation of the investigative committee on its concerns and concerns of "procrastination" of the case and the acquittal of peasants as a result of interventions and pressures exerted by the US Embassy in Baghdad.
