Industry sets the date of commencement of production in salted Basra

The General Company for Mining Industries, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, on Wednesday, that salted Basra will begin production on the first of next August.
The company's general manager Majid Hameed Ghadeeb said in a statement that his company had concluded an employment contract for others with one of the Iraqi private sector companies for the rehabilitation, modernization and development of salted Basra. The amount exceeded four billion dinars and developed for the purpose of direct production of salts used in oil wells.
"The start of production on the first of the month of August next card (250) thousand tons / year with the intention to increase this energy and reach to (500) thousand tons / year."
The Director-General pointed out that he had previously conducted a field tour of the saline site of Basrah to follow-up rehabilitation activities within the operating contract for others and instructed the addition of two new diggers to accelerate the work of digging the channel connecting from the secondary station to the washing machine site and urging efforts to accomplish the required work within the specified time.
