Middle East tensions raise oil prices

[rtl]Oil prices surged on Friday on concerns about tensions in the Middle East, offset by weak prospects for global economic growth amid the US-China trade war.[/rtl]
[rtl]By 4:57 GMT, Brent crude futures rose 7 cents to $ 63.46 a barrel, and Brent crude futures rose 0.3 percent in the previous session.[/rtl]
[rtl]US WTI crude rose 18 cents to $ 56.20 a barrel after rising 0.25 percent last night.[/rtl]
[rtl]Despite rising oil prices fueled by fears of supply disruption in the Middle East, oil markets are under pressure over concerns about weak global economic growth, with growing signs of being hit by the fallout from the Sino-US trade war.[/rtl]
