"The Iraqi judiciary sent its approval to lift the immunity of 10 deputies who had executive positions in previous governments on administrative corruption charges and 11 deputies for other crimes not related to administrative corruption," Dulaimi said in a statement.
He added that "the approval of the judiciary does not mean lifting immunity, but requires the names of deputies to the Council and the vote to lift the immunity of each one of them."
It is noteworthy that the Supreme Judicial Council announced the sending through the Presidency of the Prosecutor's request to lift the immunity of (21) members of the House of Representatives on charges related to administrative corruption and other charges during their tenure in executive positions. Ending / 25
