    [size=18]Saudi Ambassador to Washington Reem Bint Bandar Al-Saud expressed her happiness at the Kingdom's enactment of new amendments to labor laws and civil status, pointing out that the amendments aim to raise the status of Saudi women.


    "Leadership in Saudi Arabia demonstrates through these changes its commitment to gender equality, from the inclusion of women in the advisory board to the issuance of driver's licenses," the Saudi princess said in a tweets on her Twitter account.







    She added that these new regulations are historic, pointing out that they call for equality between women and men, and "would undoubtedly create a real change for Saudi women."

    newspaper [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/4215617429/%D8%A3%D9%85 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%82%D8%B1%D9%89/ar/]Um[/url] Al [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/4215617429/%D8%A3%D9%85 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%82%D8%B1%D9%89/ar/]-Qura[/url] published a statement on the adoption of amendments to the travel documents and [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/3727579019/%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%88%D9%86 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D8%AD%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AF%D9%86%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]civil status law[/url] by Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdul Aziz .


    The Royal Decree pointed out that the amendments include the amendment of Article 2 to allow the granting of a passport to any person who submits an application for this from the holders of Saudi Arabian nationality, in accordance with the Executive Regulations. 

    It shall also permit the issuance by the Minister of the Interior of a passport or temporary transit ticket for any person who does not hold Saudi Arabian nationality to use in his travel outside the Kingdom and return thereto. 

    Amendments to the travel document system also included the granting of the same rights to men and women as regards "freedom of travel" if the person was 21 years old. The law restricts those who are required to obtain travel permits: "Custody, minors, deceased and their parents".
