IHEC sets October deadline for receiving applications from parties wishing to contest elections

The Electoral Commission announced on Friday that it has set October 1 as the deadline for receiving the requests of political entities wishing to contest the upcoming local elections.
He said a member of the Board of Commissioners Hazim al-Ridini _ / information / that "the Commission has opened the door to receive the requests of political parties and entities wishing to contest local elections in April 2020."
He added that "the first of October has been set a deadline for receiving the applications of the parties," pointing out that "will be closed door receipt after the date set so that the Commission can complete the logistical procedures six months before the date of elections."
