The General Company for Hydraulic Industries, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals signed a contract with the Slovak company Versor.
A statement from the ministry received a copy of Euphrates News from the Director General of the company Haider Nasser Zaher as saying that "the contract of participation provides for the establishment of an integrated line for the assembly, maintenance, rehabilitation and development of military equipment enhanced with the best specialized equipment with the transfer of technology and training cadres working in this area."
He stressed, "The company has specialized engineering and technical cadres and infrastructure to qualify to be the mainstay in the field of assembly, maintenance and rehabilitation of military equipment."
Zahir pointed out that "the conclusion of the contract of participation comes in the framework of the company's efforts and plans to maximize its resources and develop its manufacturing potential through attracting international companies, expressing the company's readiness to provide all services to various companies that are compatible with its competence and industrial activity."
