[rtl]A leading Iraqi politician, Mithal al-Alusi, on Saturday called on the Iraqi government to dissolve the Asaib Ahl al-Haq Movement, led by Qais al-Khazali and the Nujaba, led by Akram al-Kaabi, after explicitly targeting US interests in Iraq.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Alusi told Shafaq News that "the threats of the Asaib Ahl al-Haq and the Nujaba, to target US forces or American interests in Iraq, must be taken seriously. These militias and others are capable of delivering great harm to Iraq and to the guests of Iraq and its allies. They do not care about the existence of the Iraqi state. "The Islamic State of Iran and Iraq are within the borders of that state."[/rtl]
[rtl]The head of the Iraqi Umma Party stressed that "the Iraqi government immediately to take action against these threats, and through the dissolution of gangs and the elephants and refer the leaders of those militias to the prosecutor and the competent judicial authorities, making such a decision proves that an Iraqi state is able to protect itself and protect the interests of its people." .[/rtl]
