The parliamentary education committee announced on Saturday that it has sent a number of candidates to fill the post of education.
The committee member Raad al-Maksousi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma that "the Education Committee returned a number of names and sent them to Abdul-Mahdi for review and selection of the appropriate to assume the position of education." ”.
He added that "Abdul-Mahdi authorized the Education Committee to choose the candidate and put three conditions for his selection," noting that "the conditions included that a woman and inhabited the province of Nineveh, as well as achieving its passage in the House of Representatives."
Al-Maksousi continued, "The resolution of the position of education will be through the first sessions of the first chapter of the second legislative year."
He attributed the MP of the Fatah Alliance Hassan Salem, earlier rejected the candidate of education Zahida al-Obeidi during a session of Parliament for a number of reasons, most notably the resentment of political blocs of the Chairman of the Arab Project Party Khamis Al-Khanjar.
