Talabani said on the sidelines of his participation in the Haxol Conference of Science and Technology in the city of Sulaymaniyah: "We have taken a large number of good steps towards the application of electronic system in the implementation of the tasks and activities of the government.
" Iraq and the Kurdistan region are a young society and individuals are in constant communication through mobile and social media.
He added: The previous government faced many crises and this prompted it to carry out major reforms and the trend towards the electronic system to overcome that stage.
He continued, we launched the biometric system to register employees in the Kurdistan region and we were able to implement the program with success, but this is not the main goal for us, our goal is to transform the government into an electronic government and accomplish its tasks and activities in a contemporary
