Shafaq News / The Speaker of the Iraqi parliament and the outgoing leader of " Motahedoun " (United ) coalition , Osama al-Nujaifi and the leader of the national list and the former Prime Minister , Iyad Allawi called on Sunday on the need to establish a new policy in the formation of the next government , rejecting the years of the past , in which they described as black for individually in taking decisions .
According to a statement issued by Nujaifi’s Office received by "Shafaq News", “ an important meeting was held between the latter and Allawi in the presence of leaders from both sides , noting that the meeting discussed the political situation in Iraq and the results of the elections that took place on the thirtieth of April .
According to the statement, the two sides stressed the need to establish a new policy to work to save Iraq from new policies .
The statement added that the two leaders agreed to establish a leadership capable of managing difficult tasks in a spirit of true partnership and the Unified Team, refusing to return to the policies of the past years that have proved its failure to provide what Iraqi citizen deserves.
It seems that the positions of the presidents and political leaders began to be clear to reject the policy of outgoing Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki as President of Kurdistan Region , Massoud Barzani said yesterday that " if the results of the elections didn’t make any change in policy and attitudes of Baghdad and political crisis and if the security situation worsened , Kurdistan will be forced to protect itself and will not be a part of the tensions and problems of Iraq. "
The Iraqi parliamentary elections took place last Wednesday as its preliminary findings indicate, according to sources that State of law progressed on other lists in most of central and southern governorates in Iraq, allowing it to get Prime Minister position .
