Iraq announces the export of asphalt products to the UAE

General Company for Mining Industries, a company of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced the marketing and export of its asphalt products to the UAE during the month of September.
The company's general manager Majid Hameed Ghadib said in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, that his company “exported other asphalt products to the UAE during the month of September, which are also used in paving roads, including prime coat with a quantity of (10,000) tons produced in The company's factories in Baghdad and Basra, (5) thousand tons per site and kat Pak material (2000) tons produced in the Basra factory in addition to marketing (150) tons locally to the complex Basmaya and Air Force in Essaouira and the secretariat of Baghdad.
He added that the company produces various asphalt products such as flat flakes, hot masques, flinquets and others, noting that the company is the only one specialized in improving the gears where it has two production lines of Turkish origin with German design in its factories in Baghdad and Basra with a capacity of (40) tons for one meal.
He disclosed that "marketing quantities amounting to (700) tons of Qir Alksa developed to the secretariat of Baghdad to cover the highway and the Baghdad-Babylon road," pointing out that "the company has developed two other production lines in its laboratories in Baghdad to increase the production capacity of this product for the purpose of meeting the growing domestic demand it ”.
