Abdul Mahdi: Let tomorrow be the day of martyrs and victims

[rtl]The Prime Minister called on Friday to be a day of martyrs, saying that instructions were issued not to expose any media and not to arrest people without a warrant.[/rtl]





[rtl]"Next week we will make the ministerial reshuffles away from the quota," Abdul Mahdi said in his speech on urgent reform steps and measures, adding that "the task now is to achieve freedoms, stability and services."[/rtl]



[rtl]He added that "we will reduce the salaries of officials to the fourth degree in half, and we will give two to the Federal Service Council of Parliament to implement the Civil Service Law," noting that "we will establish a fund for nationals to reduce the salaries of officials and allocate a grant of 130 thousand dinars per citizen per month."[/rtl]



[rtl]"The government supports a freeze on the work of the provincial councils, and we are seeking to form a new election commission away from the quota," the prime minister said, adding that "the groups receive their weapons to become a political party under the law of parties or dissolve itself."[/rtl]



[rtl]On the demonstrations, Abdul-Mahdi said that "anyone who wants to demonstrate has to make a formal request to do so," pointing out that "some exploit the demonstrations for reasons other than political, such as high prices and monopoly, for example."[/rtl]



[rtl]He called for "to be a day of martyrs and victims and a day of unity," adding that "we have issued strict orders not to attack any media. We have issued instructions not to arrest anyone without a warrant."[/rtl]



[rtl]He continued that "the Interior warned against the detention of any person by any party, and made the armed forces to face the demonstrations a big mistake we must stay away from," adding that "the failure of the state to build law enforcement forces behind what happened previously."[/rtl]



[rtl]He explained that "the Commission investigating the events of the demonstrations worked with all transparency, and the Commission of Inquiry administrative do not control but diagnose the outcome and receive evidence to the judiciary, and the decisions taken against personalities is not an accusation but an opportunity for them to prove their innocence."[/rtl]



[rtl]Abdul-Mahdi wondered about "the fate of the committees to investigate the fall of Mosul and demonstrations 2016 and other issues," noting that "most of the investigative committees ended without results or accountability to the negligent."[/rtl]



[rtl]"The current government is the first government to prepare a scientific program and allow the parliament to exercise its functions. The call to topple the government is a legitimate right to wear," he said.[/rtl]



[rtl]"The totalitarian mentality believes that my previous resignations are a weak position, but they were a warning of serious accumulations," he said. "The resignation of the government without providing a constitutional alternative is to leave the country to chaos."[/rtl]



[rtl]"Some of them declare that the peace of the country is safe, and that the crisis in the country is a systemic crisis, a system and equations that have changed and we have been alerted for years," he said.[/rtl]



[rtl]"This year, 11 trillion dinars were paid as debt owed by the country," he said.[/rtl]



[rtl]"Millions of unemployed armies, poor services and corruption have not accumulated in a few months, but are old."[/rtl]
