{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Oil denied importing one of the refined oil derivatives.
"The ministry is keen to support the oil production sector and aspires to develop this sector through partnership with international companies to improve the quality and quality of production and marketing," said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad in a press statement.
He pointed out that "the Ministry of Oil does not import any fats or oils from abroad and that the importer is the private sector, whether from companies or individuals," noting that "granting import licenses is not within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Oil but rather from the powers of the Ministry of Commerce."
Jihad stressed that "the ministry supports and encourages the national product and that all gas stations have places designated for selling these products at good prices."
