The production of dates factories in Karbala increased to 3 times as a result of the "Made in Iraq" campaign

The date-packing plant in the holy Karbala witnessed a remarkable recovery after the campaign to support the national products that the country witnessed recently.
The owner of the Al-Ikhlas Dates Factory, Mohamed Reda, told Al-Maalouma that "the factory where 6 workers were working in the past period has reached the number of workers now to 50 workers who are striving to produce tens of tons of dates with their different types."
Reza added that "the campaign to support the national product helped the factory owners to raise their production to ten times a day with increasing numbers of workers, as well as canning different types of dates according to the demands of the local market."
He pointed out that "the dates factories in Karbala also export many of their products to the countries of Turkey, Lebanon and Syria, especially in the seasons of the month of Rajab, Shaaban and Ramadan."
