    Popular crowd wasn't fighting for Iraqi Sovereignty, they were fighting to keep Iraq in the Iranian sphere of influence. It has always been known to the Iraqi's that if American forces are attacked they will defend themselves, it is idiotic to think otherwise. Again, Iran violates Iraqi sovereignty everyday, ask the protesters how many victims have been at the hand of Iran.
