    Information / Baghdad ..
Member of the Legal Committee, MP Hussein Al-Oqabi confirmed, on Thursday, that the Federal Court is looking into appeals that have a constitutional dispute and do not look at appeals of political or technical differences of laws, noting that the appeals submitted regarding the election law are technical.
Al-Oqabi said in a statement to "The Information", that "the approval of the next parliament elections law was not satisfactory to most of the Kurdish forces, especially considering the judiciary as one constituency, and that some Kurdish forces resorted to file an appeal with the Federal Court."
He added that "the appeals submitted to the Federal Court are appeals related to the mechanism of the electoral system and this mechanism relates to the technical and administrative side", explaining that "the Federal Court considers appeals that have a constitutional dispute and have nothing to do with the technical side and I think that these appeals will be responded by the Federal Court."
The Kurdistan Alliance member, Hoshyar Abdullah, had said in previous statements that the election law was passed without the knowledge of the Kurds, considering that the law would perpetuate the domination of the major parties over the seats of the next parliament. Ended in / 25 pm
