Taloubi indicated that "the vote to remove foreign forces from Iraq does not affect the selection of an appropriate person to head the government," noting that "the character to be agreed upon must be accepted by the demonstrators."
Informed sources revealed, on Wednesday, the movements of leaders in the Construction Alliance towards the retention of Adel Abdul Mahdi as prime minister.
The sources said in an interview with "Mawazine News" that "after the demonstrators rejected a group of candidates presented by the Construction Alliance to head the next government, the coalition intends to keep the resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi in his post." End / 29 BC
