Rouhani rejects the idea of a "Trump agreement" to solve the nuclear dispute

{International: Al Furat News} Iranian President Hassan Rouhani rejected a proposal to conclude a new agreement called "the Trump agreement", with the aim of resolving the nuclear dispute, saying it was a "strange" offer.
In a televised speech, Rouhani said that the United States should return to the 2015 nuclear agreement between Tehran and world powers, adding that Iran could reverse its steps to reduce its commitment to the agreement.
Rouhani criticized the European parties that activated the dispute settlement mechanism included in the agreement, saying that they had failed to fulfill their obligations, according to Reuters.
The Iranian president said that European soldiers deployed in the Middle East "may be vulnerable" after Britain, France and Germany defied Tehran over the nuclear deal.
This is the first time that Rouhani has threatened Europe amid tension with the United States, which pulled out of the agreement on the decision of President Donald Trump.
Rouhani added, "The European Union has not acted as an independent bloc, and it must apologize to Tehran for its failure to keep its promises. The Europeans must fulfill their obligations towards the 2015 nuclear agreement."
