MP expects parliament to vote on Budget law in Thursday session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Abdul al-Salam al-Maliki, expected the parliament to vote on the Budget law of 2013 during its session of Thursday despite the disputed points within its draft.
He stated to IraqiNews.com “The serious dialogues and discussions conducted during the previous days concerning the Budget law were fruitful,” noting that “Compromise reached during the former dialogues but still there are minor disputed issues that will not hinder its endorsement during Thursday.”
“The State of Law Coalition calls the Parliament Chairmanship to present the Budget law for a vote despite the disputes during Thursday session,” he added.
He stressed the importance of endorsing the budget as soon as possible to avoid the negative consequences.
