, resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi held, on Saturday, with the official in charge of forming the new government, Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.
A statement of Abdul-Mahdi's office, which has received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, stated that "the latter had contacted the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, congratulating him on the task of forming the new government, and expressing to him all the possibilities for his success in his upcoming tasks."
He added: "The two parties agreed to meet at the first possible opportunity to work together in a manner that suits the requirements of the commissioning stage and the success of the democratic process in the best way." Ended 29 / h
