BAGHDAD / NINA / U.S. Vice President, Joe Biden discussed with, Osama al-Nujaifi , in a telephone call, security and political situation in Iraq and the need to address the terrorist groups represented by the ISIS.
The two sides stressed during the telephone call received by Nujaifi, according to a statement by Muttahidoon coalition today that "a military solution alone does not lead to a result without being accompanied by a political solution based on dealing with the needs of citizens and their legitimate demands away from the narrow sectarian view, with the need to separate between the terrorists and the claimants rights.

The statement noted "Nujaifi confirmed his firm position concerning the legitimate rights of citizens, and the need to overcome the causes that led to the worsening situation militarily and politically, stressing that the real participation and the presence of political solutions and respect the components would lead inevitably to besiege the terrorists and prevent them from exploit opportunities, adding that the support provided to the security forces should not exploited politically by any party.
