Basra Oil Company cuts crude production in Nahr bin Omar field

The official news agency "Wa'i" stated, on Sunday, that the Basra Oil Company will reduce the production of crude in the Nahr bin Omar field to the minimum possible due to pollution and gas emissions.
The general manager of the company, Ihsan Abdul Jabbar, said, "The Nahr bin Omar field is the most controversial field on pollution and emissions, as it was decided to reduce the production of crude oil to a minimum and stop operating all oil wells in it in order to provide environmental protection."
