[size=18]On Thursday, the Iraq Center for Legal Development (ICLD) revealed a constitutional breach of the mandate of the Designated Prime Minister.

The Center pointed out in a book directed to the Presidency of the Republic that Allawi's assignment to form a cabinet was not a constitutional assignment, as it was not nominated by all components of the largest parliamentary bloc in accordance with Article 76 / First of the Constitution, which is considered a clear constitutional violation, but rather a violation of the constitution.

The Center affirmed its appreciation for the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through, and its standing with the nomination of a person like Mr. Allawi, but that this should not be contrary to constitutional controls, calling on the Presidency of the Republic to correct this apparent violation.
