    Independent MP Bassem Khashan said on Thursday that the political blocs and parties are moving formally under the pretext of resolving the government formation crisis, pointing out that the parties may come with a candidate from their womb in order to share the spoils, or they may return to assigning Abdul-Mahdi.
    Khashan said in a statement to the "information", that "the political blocs move in a routine manner, as there is a formal move under the pretext of finding a solution to the current political crisis, but the real endeavor to find a way does not exist."
    He added that "what the blocs offer at the present time are solutions that conflict with the interests and will of the people."
    He explained that "the political class has two options, the first of which is to assign a person from within the parties to the Prime Minister, and as a result there will be a sharing of ministries according to the previous quotas for a simple amendment of the quota rules that were implemented during the era of Abdul-Mahdi."
    He pointed out that "the parties may work to recycle the previous government and restore Abdul-Mahdi to power, and this is worse than the first option." 25 n ended
