A request to clarify the nature of the handover of the Al-Qa’im base to Iraqi forces: withdrawal or redeployment?

The deputy of the "Sadiqun" parliamentary bloc, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, asked the joint operations command to clarify the details of the withdrawal of the American forces from [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/145376/%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%AF%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%A6%D9%85]the Al-Qaim base and[/url] hand them over to the Iraqi forces, wondering whether the deployment aims to redeploy.
Al-Baldawi said in a press statement: "The statement of the Joint Forces Command regarding the receipt [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/287/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%82%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%AA %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82%D9%8A%D8%A9]by the Iraqi forces of[/url] the existing base of the international coalition forces is unclear," asking the Joint Operations Command to clarify the withdrawal mechanism, and is it a redeployment or an actual exit from the country?
He added: "General MacKenzie, the commander of US forces in the Middle East, said a few days ago that there is a plan to redeploy American forces in Iraq and bring Patriot missiles to protect American bases, so we have to make sure of the decision to withdraw, and this is the duty of the Iraqi government."
