America acknowledges Iraq two Boeing 737 mid-this year
The Iraqi Transport Ministry, announced that the United States will give Iraq two Boeing during June and July of this year, under a contract to develop Iraq's air fleet and outfitted with 40 aircraft.
He said media adviser to Transport Minister Karim Al-Nuri, "Moscow news": that Iraqi Airways will receive Boeing aircraft (737) us during the month of July this year.
The second aircraft of the same type will be delivered by June, under contract with the United States to equip the Iraqi air transport fleet (40), contribute to the openness to the world through flights.
The Transport Ministry has signed more than five years ago, the first two decades with America to buy 40 planes, and the second decade with Canada for processing by aircraft type (ESR) received 6 up to now, the Ministry noted that the total value of the contracts has reached 400 million dollars.
Iraq seeks to open several air routes from Baghdad to Britain, China and the Netherlands and Germany, as well as to conduct flights to Kuwait, after a hiatus of more than 22 years because of the sanctions that were imposed on Iraq as a result of the war launched by the previous regime to the State of Kuwait.
