    Prime Minister [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] agreed with Parliament Speaker Mohamed Al-Halbousi on Wednesday to provide financial cover to the Ministry of Health in order to combat the Corona virus and to study the possibility of issuing salaries for two months or more for retirees.
    "The Presidency of the Council of Representatives held an extraordinary meeting with the government to discuss efforts to combat the Corona epidemic, and health, economic and service conditions, to take all necessary measures to confront the crisis," the Halabousi media office said in a statement received / information.
    He added that "the meeting decided during which the necessary legislative cover was provided by the legislative authority of the government in order to take the necessary and urgent measures to confront the crisis, as well as provide the necessary financial allocations to the Ministry of Health and the crisis cell (Diwaniya Committee 55)."
    And that "the meeting decided during which to work to provide suitable places for quarantine for the injured urgently, as well as securing the salaries of employees and delivering them according to the time schedules specified for each month and paying attention to the segment of low-income citizens, through studying the possibility of launching a salary of two months or more to the beneficiaries of the social protection network." .
    He stated that "the meeting discussed the possibility of launching a salary of two months or more for civilian and military retirees, working to secure the food and medicinal needs of citizens, and communicating the requirements of daily life to people with limited incomes through several measures that will be taken by the government."
    He pointed out that "during the meeting, emphasis was placed on following up the needs of Iraqi citizens abroad by providing means of return for those who wish them and providing full support to the efforts of the Ministry of Health, its cadres, security forces and all state institutions, for what is being done of an exceptional effort to confront the crisis and its requirements." 25 n ended
