Parliamentary Committee: An existing deputy and the Minister of Education involved in corruption deals printed curricula

A member of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Raad Al-Maksousi, affirmed that one of the current MPs was involved in corruption deals, printing the curricula outside the country, noting: "The Minister of Education Suha Al-Ali Bey is involved in corruption contracts."
Al-Maksousi said in a press statement, "One of the current MPs continues with corruption deals printing curricula outside the country, and he has been diagnosed since the previous parliamentary session."
Al-Maksousi called on the Presidency of the Council of Representatives to lift the immunity of the deputy and refer it to the supervisory authorities on charges of stealing Iraqi money. He called on Abdul-Mahdi to withdraw the minister’s hand and refer it to the investigation against the background of tampering with the curriculum printing contracts.
