MP in the Iraqi parliament, Asaad Al-Murshidi, was excluded, on Friday, from the appointment of an independent government by Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi, noting that quotas would be present in the new government.
Al-Murshidi said in a statement to “Information” that “Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi will not be able to bring about an independent government that is far from political parties and blocs.”
He added that "Al-Kazemi will be rejected if he does not come with figures that the political blocs agree to or provide, mainly, as he was rejected by him because of their independence of choice or the strength of their personalities and their decisions."
And that "the political blocs today stand with Al-Kazemi for the sake of quotas in positions, where they will be redistributed as before, and therefore there will be no new, independent government." 25 n ended
