(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Vice-President of the House of Representatives, Bashir Haddad, affirmed on Friday the government's ability to pay employee salaries for the coming months.
Haddad said in a press conference held in Erbil, "We know that difficult conditions are going through Iraq, but he can pay the salaries of the employees during the coming months, including those in the provinces of the region."
It is noteworthy that fears stemmed from the government's inability to pay the salaries of employees and retirees because of the low oil prices and the dependence of the Iraqi treasury on mainly exporting oil in addition to the disruption of the internal economy due to the Corona pandemic.
It is said that some state institutions and after the date of the distribution of its employees ' salaries for this month , not the distribution and exchange of staff without knowing why, while a large body of news about the existence of new cuts in Roatbhm.anthy
