Part of that fettha today in Basra

    Alsumaria news/Basrah
    Opened
to organize trade shows, Friday, construction and food industries in
Basra involving 80 companies from 17 countries, the management of the
company the Organization attributed the large Turkish companies involved
to obtain the support of the Turkish Government.

    He said
Chairman of the Basrah International exhibition Muhammad Sharif in an
interview for "alsumaria news", that "at least 80 companies from 17
countries participated in two exhibitions, one for construction and
Agriculture and food industries", stating that "participating companies
of which about 40 Turkish companies, and mostly from the United States,
Germany and South Korea, Portugal and Egypt, Sudan, Jordan and Iran and
    India and Bangladesh.

Sharif noted that "many Turkish firms
participate due to the support of the Turkish Government to companies
that participate in foreign trade shows in support of the national
industry," adding that "the Government includes support for a large part
of the expenses involved in exhibitions.

    Sharif noted that
"exposed who opened today and continue three days hopefully given lots
of Iraqi businessmen and merchants," such trade fairs contribute to
revitalizing commercial traffic and improve the economic situation in
    Basra. "

For his part, said the Chairman of the Committee on
economic development in Basra Governorate Council Mahmoud 4gayts in an
interview for "alsumaria news", that "the local Government supports
international trade fairs and depend on strengthening the economic
position of the Mayor, who provided a valuable opportunity for local
businesses to the private sector to build bridges of cooperation with
    foreign companies."

Many of the companies specialized in
construction and food industries also exposed, including security and
safety control systems and some State companies in vulnerable, including
public ports company, Ministry of transport, cement State company in
the South of the Ministry of industry and minerals.

    The Basra
governorate after mid-2008 has seen the influx of dozens of Turkish
companies to operate, after Iranian companies are more foreign companies
operating in the province and active presence, but that equation turned
in 2010 as a result of the increase in the number of Turkish companies
and expansion of its dealings with the local private sector, and most of
those companies specializing in construction, trade and industry, and
another specializing in air transport and lifting sunken naval pieces
    and organizing international trade fairs.

    It seems that the tense
political relations between Iraq and Turkey did not significantly
affect cooperation and trade between the two countries, the domestic
market saturated with goods and various Turkish goods, particularly food
    and home.
