    The central bank announced today, Wednesday, a new reduction initiative.
    The bank said in a statement received by the National News Center, that it “decided to reduce all interest imposed on loans granted within the initiative of the Central Bank of Iraq (1) trillion dinars, and as below:
    1- Reducing the interest of the Central Bank of Iraq for large projects to be (1%) instead of (2%)
    2- Reducing interest for banks on housing loans to be (2%) instead of (4%)
    3- Amending the Central Bank commission (for housing loans) to be (5 per thousand) instead of (7 per thousand)
    4- All interests for banks and guarantor companies shall be (decreasing). ”

    The Central Bank of Iraq announced today, Wednesday, the reduction of interest imposed on loans granted within the initiative of trillion dinars.
    "The Central Bank of Iraq is keen to take into account the current exceptional circumstances related to the financial and economic aspect and the repercussions of the Corona pandemic," the bank’s media office said in a statement.
    He added that "it was decided to reduce all the interest imposed on the loans granted within the initiative of the Central Bank of Iraq (1) trillion dinars," indicating that "the interest of the Central Bank of Iraq for large projects will be reduced to be (1%) instead of (2%), and a reduction The interest for banks on housing loans to be (2%) instead of (4%) ”.
    The office added that "the commission of the central bank (for housing loans) will be amended to be (5 per thousand) instead of (7 per thousand)," pointing out that "all benefits for banks and guarantor companies are diminishing." End 25
