Iraq and Oman agree to consolidate relations

(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, received today, Saturday, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Iraq, Hamid bin Aqil Abdros, where the agreement was drawn up to consolidate relations between the two countries.

According to a statement from the Al-Kazemi Media Office, the Omani ambassador conveyed a copy of it today, the greetings of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and his wishes for the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries to develop and prosper in all fields. Al-Kazimi also conveyed his greetings to the Sultan of Oman, expressing his hope. With more cooperation and strengthening relations between Baghdad and Muscat.
He added, "The meeting witnessed a discussion of a number of issues of common concern, regional situations and everything that would enhance stability and security in the region."
Al-Kazemi stressed that Iraq seeks to consolidate its relations with the Sultanate of Oman, and that the coming period will witness more coordination, including in the interest of the two brotherly peoples.
