(Baghdad: Al Furat News) Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Zafer Al-Ani, announced that the capital, Baghdad, will host a tripartite summit that brings together Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, Egyptian President Abdel Fateh Al-Sisi and King Abdullah of Jordan.

Al-Ani said, in a press statement, "Next Thursday, there will be a tripartite summit meeting, which will bring together Al-Kazemi, Sisi and King Abdullah in the capital, Baghdad."
Al-Ani explained that "this meeting comes as a continuation of the series of summits that took place between the three countries."
It is noteworthy that Iraq, Jordan and Egypt announced in Amman at the end of August of last year an agreement between them. The summit focused on economic issues between the three countries, specifically with regard to energy, intra-trade and investment.
