The Independent / - The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed the difficulty of reducing the price of the dollar in the budget.
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, said in a press statement by its independent affiliate: “The requests of the political blocs related to the budget are many and large, including reducing the price of the dollar, and this is difficult to verify, given that all the paragraphs of the budget are based on an exchange rate of 145 thousand dinars per 100 dollars, And changing it needs to completely reformulate the budget again. ”
He stressed: “The central bank cannot change the dollar’s exchange rate twice within a two-month period, given that the citizen will lose confidence in the central bank.”
Cougar pointed out: “The change in the exchange rate came from the government and the central bank, and the budget has nothing to do with it, and therefore even if the budget is not approved, the current dollar rate will remain as it is.”
