Jordan confirms its readiness to supply Iraq with phosphate fertilizers

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Phosphate Mines Company, Muhammad Al-Thunaibat, announced that the company is ready to respond to the request of the Ministry of Agriculture in Iraq and to provide it with phosphate fertilizers "DAB".

Al-Thunaibat indicated that he discussed with the Iraqi Minister of Agriculture Muhammad Karim Al-Khafaji, who is visiting the Kingdom, ways to strengthen cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries, especially in the field of phosphate fertilizers, as well as the project to establish a plant for phosphate fertilizers in partnership between the two sides.
The two parties agreed to arrange a meeting in Amman to continue discussing these matters, and Al-Dhunaibat invited the Iraqi Minister of Agriculture to host him and the delegation accompanying him to see the process of producing and manufacturing phosphate fertilizers in Jordan, and to complete the research in this area to reach an agreement that establishes a real partnership in this aspect.
