Industry and agriculture sign two contracts to supply urea and Dab fertilizers

Yesterday, Friday, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals signed two contracts between the Southern Fertilizers and Agricultural Equipment Company, to supply urea and Dab fertilizers for the current year.
And the Ministry of Industry and Minerals stated, in a statement, that “in the presence of the Scientific Adviser to the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, Ammar Abdullah Hamad, and the Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mahdi Sahar, the General Company for Southern Fertilizers Industry, represented by its general manager, Engineer Haider Taher Jassim, signed with the General Company for Agricultural Supplies represented by the general manager The engineer, Talib Al-Kaabi, signed two contracts to supply urea fertilizer and al-Dab fertilizer to meet the needs of the Ministry of Agriculture for the current year, on the sidelines of the activities of the Agricultural Week currently being held at the Baghdad International Fair.
The general manager of the Southern Fertilizer Company, Haider Taher Jassim, said, according to the statement, that "the two contracts provide for supplying the Ministry of Agriculture with (250) thousand tons of urea fertilizer and (60) thousand tons of al-Dab fertilizer during the current year."
Jassim stressed that "the company, with the efforts of its staff, continues to produce urea fertilizer with a capacity of (1,000) tons per day, and al-Dab fertilizer with a capacity of (1,500 to 1,700) tons per day," pointing out that "the signing of these contracts comes within the Ministry of Industry's plan to support the agricultural sector and meet the farmers' need for fertilizers." agricultural".
