    Baghdad - IQ
Deputy Chairman of the Natural Resources Committee in the Parliament of the Kurdistan Region, Colizar Rashid, revealed, Sunday (April 4, 2021) that a dispute broke out between two companies to transport crude oil that caused the suspension of the transfer of oil from one of the Garmian fields to the market some days ago, causing great losses in the resources of Kurdistan.
Rashid said in a statement received by the NEWS IQ website  , that "the process of transporting crude oil from the Saida field in the Garmian region is facing problems due to the refusal of the crude oil transporter operating in the field for seven years to hand over the transfer file to another company." Notable for the region’s oil exports and imports. "
She added that "the flow of more than 30 thousand barrels of oil from this field per day has stopped, which has caused a great loss in Kurdistan's resources," stressing that "the oil transportation process must be carried out under the supervision of the Ministry of Natural Resources."
Rashid indicated, "The Parliamentary Natural Resources Committee is following up the issue with other concerned parties to reach a final solution to the problem to limit the harm to the people of Kurdistan."
