On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health and Environment issued a new warning after recording the highest daily infection rate in the country since the outbreak of the "Covid 19" pandemic.
A member of the media medical team of the Ministry of Health, Ruba Falah Hassan, said in a statement, "The number of infected people is still high despite the increase in the number of vaccination campaigns." .
She added, "The health situation is still stable in Iraq, but in the event that the number of injuries increases further, the health institutions and personnel will not be able to absorb the crisis."
The spokeswoman explained, "A group of citizens is still not committed to preventive measures, and is reluctant to take the vaccine despite its importance and to declare its safety, and this threatens the health system," calling on citizens to "go to the nearest health center that provides vaccines and undergo vaccination to reduce infections and prevent the spread of the epidemic." .
On Monday, the death toll from the "Corona" virus in Iraq rose to more than 887,000 infections, after thousands of new cases were recorded.
A statement of the Ministry of Health and Environment, which "Ultra Iraq" received a copy of, said that its laboratories recorded 7,300 injuries during the past 24 hours, while the number of recoveries reached 5,225 cases, corresponding to the death of 33 people.
