The Basra Investment Commission announced, on Thursday, that it will grant investment licenses to three projects in different fields in the governorate, while indicating that it will provide many job opportunities.
The head of the commission, Alaa Abdul-Hussein Salman, said, according to the official agency, that "investment licenses were granted for three quality projects to local companies and investors in Basra Governorate, with a value exceeding $ 16 million."
He added that "the first project will be a 6-storey hospital in the governorate center, which will be built on an area of (2,240 square meters) and will include the departments: (operations, childbirth, men's lounges, women's lounges, dental, lithotripsy, dialysis, emergency, laboratory, sonar) And pharmacy) ".
Salman pointed out that "the second project includes a medical complex in Al-Zubair district, west of Basra governorate, which includes (surgical, gynecological, cardiac clinics, fractures, eyes, internal, cosmetic, and dental)", indicating that "the third project is a large commercial complex consisting of (10 floors) in the Minawi Pasha area, which consists of (a garage, a restaurant, and 32 commercial offices).
Salman pointed out that "the three projects will contribute to providing the best medical, health, therapeutic and medicinal care for visual families, especially as Basra needs at the same time to develop the health sector by increasing investment hospitals and health institutions provided with the best modern medical and therapeutic devices," stressing that "these projects will work."
