    [size=45]The head of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshes, Salam Al-Shammari, confirmed, on Thursday, that the file of farmers’ entitlements for the previous years 2014, 2019, 2020 and 2021, has been resolved.[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Shammari said in a press conference, joint with the Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Al-Khafaji, that “we met with representatives of the ministries of commerce and finance to discuss and resolve the file of farmers’ entitlements for the previous years 2014, 2019, 2020 and 2021, and the direct delivery of money to farmers for the previous years will begin regarding the Mesopotamian Company, the Iraqi company and the Ministry of Agriculture.” Trade as of next Sunday.[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Shammari added, "Amounts were also secured after extensive deliberations from the members of the Parliamentary Committee, the Minister of Agriculture and the Budget Officer in Finance to secure farmers' dues for strategic crops for the year 2021, and very soon these funds will be distributed."[/size]
    [size=45]He continued, "The file of those affected by the death of fish, floods and farmers of the rye crop for the years 2018 and 2019 was also discussed, and a committee was formed by the minister to resolve this file in the coming days. The development of an off-season agricultural plan and the disbursement of barley dues for the year 2014 after the security check, and we will proceed to secure the farmers' entitlements. Including crops of fruits and vegetables, table eggs, fish and chicken.[/size]

    [size=45]He continued, "The payment of farmers' dues in 2014 and 2019 was also discussed, and their disbursement was approved, but some of the dues have security checks and will be dealt with for more than 400 to 500 farmers during the current week, as well as the damage caused to the fish lakes in the cities, and the Agriculture Committee confirmed the formation of a committee A joint effort by the Ministries of Agriculture and Irrigation and Parliament to audit the situation and treat it as soon as possible, as well as the fish lakes in Babylon, in the Imam’s district. There is a great development in supporting the agricultural sector, protecting the local product and preventing smuggling, and more than 80% of self-sufficiency has been achieved for chicken and eggs and more than 12 items other agricultural.[/size]
