    Salah al-Din Governorate announced, on Tuesday, the development of a plan to complete work on 600 projects, while stressing its need for health, water and infrastructure projects.
    The Assistant Governor of Salah al-Din for Technical Affairs, Muhammad al-Jubouri, said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency, and followed by "Economy News", that "the investment plans funded by the ministries in the province for this year are very few, given the province's need for projects due to its exposure to great damage after the control of ISIS terrorist gangs on Most of its areas since 2014 until its liberation in 2017, "and called on the ministries to "contribute to the inclusion of important projects within their plans for the current and next year, such as strategic water projects in Qadisiyah, Balad and Dujail. These projects are strategic to solve the problem of water scarcity throughout the governorate, in addition to the University Bridge projects and other health projects.
    He added that "the governorate's share of development and investment projects and the rest of the other plans is 452 billion dinars, of which 50 billion dinars are allocated to the capital of Islamic civilization Samarra and 402 billion dinars to the rest of the province's districts, where the priorities of the projects to be implemented were included and a plan was developed for them," noting that "the plan included Continuing to work in 70% of the 600 ongoing projects and implementing large and important strategic projects such as sewage projects for five districts, namely Baiji, Sharqat, Tikrit, Qadisiyah, Al-Dur and Al-Tuz, as well as the unified Samarra water project funded by the Japanese (JICA) and it is hoped that it will be announced this year and referred, and its value is more than 100 One million dollars, which is the largest water project in Salah al-Din with a capacity of 6000 cubic meters, in addition to the new projects, which are to build the governorate departments that were damaged by terrorist operations, the most important of which are the retirement department and the real estate registration department, where modern technology will be applied within these departments.
    Al-Jubouri added that "the new projects represent 30% of the regional development plan for this year, which is estimated at 120 billion dinars," noting that "these projects are scheduled on the basis of priorities through the administrative units, and the plan also includes support for the security sector and support for Tikrit University and the University of Samarra and supporting the Shirqat Corniche project, as well as equipping Tikrit Teaching Hospital with medical equipment and furniture.
