{Political: Al-Furat News} The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, issued a statement on the seventh anniversary of the entry of ISIS and the fatwa for sufficient jihad.
Al-Kazemi said in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it,
“Iraq has gone through very difficult circumstances in these days, which put it in front of a dangerous existential challenge, indicating that it is the divine providence and what was issued by the supreme reference, Mr. Ali al-Sistani, in terms of a fatwa and directives, that stopped a terrorist beast.” It had terrified the whole world, and it led to the elimination of this organization in a period that the whole world could not have imagined."
He added, "The fatwa came from a patriotic spirit that addressed the comprehensive Iraqi identity, as is the permanent accepted approach in the positions of the rational reference, which refused to address any Iraqi except with his Iraqi identity, leaving sectarian and ethnic headlines completely away from its political discourse."
He added that "Iraqis of all kinds and sects have responded to the comprehensive call for all volunteers to join the official security forces to confront ISIS."
And he indicated that "the fatwa pumped new blood into the body of Iraq and the Iraqis, and the world was living a difficult moment over a horrific event that was manifested in the loss of Iraq's largest city (Umm Al-Rabeein) and its fall into the hands of the terrorist ISIS, and the subsequent fall of multiple provinces and cities, the slaughter of its people, the desecration of their sanctities and the captivity of their women, Before the criminal terrorist gangs, they destroyed plowing and offspring and committed the most horrific massacres and genocide against our people, against innocents and defenseless, and they wanted to obliterate the history and identity of our country and people.
The Prime Minister pointed out that "all these came as a result of neglect in the care of the security institutions and the heroic Iraqi army, and the accumulation of wrong policies that led the country to these disasters."
He pointed out that "we are working to correct these paths and put the country on the right line by supporting the armed forces and controlling their performance in accordance with national military rules, as the reference has always recommended, warning against exploiting the fatwa politically and economically in favor of non-national projects that spoil the sacrifices of heroic volunteers."
Al-Kazemi stressed that "from here I am addressing my honorable people, the people of Iraq, the cradle of human civilization and the land of prophets and guardians, that we always strive to consolidate the pillars of brotherhood among the people of society as a single national fabric, enjoying all their rights without discrimination, and we address the claims of hatred and incitement to violence, O great people, we remember This day is not to awaken the wounds of orphans and widows, but to benefit from lessons and correct mistakes. Let us look to the future and build a strong and capable Iraq in which people are respected without discrimination and discrimination. The language of tolerance and forgiveness must prevail and overcome the language of revenge and violence.
He concluded, "This government of yours, despite all the difficulties and obstacles, is standing strong in order to build a prosperous and promising future. Soon you will have a role in building your future through your participation in the elections for the purpose of choosing the best representative for you."
He pointed out that "this government has taken upon itself to follow a moderate and deliberate approach in dismantling crises, and moving away from the policy of reactions and excitement that took the country previously towards disasters."
