The Independent High Electoral Commission, Al-Obaa, suggested that the number of candidates who withdrew from the electoral race would reach more than one hundred candidates.
The Director of Media and Mass Communication at the Commission, Hassan Salman, said that "the number has not been accurately determined so far, as there are many requests that may be rejected," noting that "the withdrawal decision may not be retracted, and it must be accompanied by the approval of the candidate and the party if the withdrawal belongs to a party or alliance." .
