    Meanwhile, an official in the Ministry of Electricity said in a statement: "The cadres of his ministry succeeded in reaching an unprecedented record of energy production during these hours, as production exceeded 19,600 megawatts," and added that "energy production arrived before midnight on Monday on Tuesday ( 5-6 July 2021) to 19,644 megawatts, a number not previously recorded in previous periods.
    He added, "The current figure is the second highest production, after we reached more than 20,000 megawatts earlier last month, before a series of attacks targeting power towers in several governorates."
    In another statement, the ministry announced agreements to raise gas emissions and return Iranian lines.
    She added, "The Undersecretary for Production Affairs, Adel Karim, received the Chargé d'Affairs of the Iranian Embassy in Iraq, Moussa Alizadeh, to discuss the latest developments in bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of energy and fuel."
    The statement added that "Zadeh indicated that Iran seeks to continue and strengthen the bonds of friendship between the Iraqi and Iranian peoples, and the depth of the deep historical relations that bind them," noting that "Iran is ready to raise gas pumping rates, re-work the Iranian lines, and the possibility of operating the (Amara - Karkha) lines.
