The Foreign Relations Committee revealed, on Monday, the holding of a series of meetings it described as "secret" between Iran and Saudi Arabia in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, under the supervision of the Iraqi government .
Committee member, Mukhtar al-Moussawi, said that "high-level delegations held during the past year, a series of meetings amounting to more than 4 secret meetings in the capital, Baghdad, with Iraqi mediation ."
He added that "Iraq played a major role in calming the situation between the two countries, and the region answers the challenges by bringing the parties to the dialogue table ."
