    Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq's sales of the "green currency" decreased at the end of its sessions for the current week, on Thursday, to record 204 million US dollars.

    Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that the Central Bank witnessed today, during its auction for buying and selling the US dollar, a decrease in its sales by 6.85% to reach 204 million, and 218 thousand and 319 US dollars covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to yesterday, Wednesday. Sales amounted to 219 million and 476 thousand and 461 US dollars.

    The purchases amounting to 171 million and 818 thousand and 319 dollars went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, while the remaining amount of 32 million and 400 thousand dollars went in cash.

    Our correspondent indicated that 34 banks have fulfilled requests to enhance balances abroad, and 7 banks have responded to cash requests, in addition to the participation of 13 exchange companies, and 190 mediation companies.

    Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq's sales of the "green currency" rose today, Wednesday, to record 219 million US dollars.

    Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, the Central Bank witnessed an increase in its sales by 4.78% to reach 219 million and 476 thousand and 461 US dollars covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to last Monday. The sales amounted to 209 million 196 thousand and 64 dollars.

    The purchases amounting to 166 million and 896 thousand and 461 dollars went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, while the remaining amount of 52 million and 580 thousand dollars went in cash.

    Our correspondent indicated that 33 banks have responded to requests to enhance balances abroad, and 18 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to the participation of 20 exchange companies, and 254 mediation companies
